With the paralegal/case manager leading the way, the client will be guided through what will be needed to complete the documents necessary to an appropriate estate plan. The advisor should make themselves part of this introduction to assure the proper perspective.
The advisor will meet with the client either remotely or in person, as is best for the circumstances, to collect and review all financial accounts and contracts. The case manager will work with the advisor to assure that all the needed documents are secured from the client and sent to the law group.
After the attorney has a call with the client to review the gathered documents, the appropriate legal documents will be prepared. When the trust documents are delivered, the advisor will be part of the delivery by phone or in person.
